About Won Sil Kim
Statement
She was born in Korea and have been living in Southern California since immigrating to the United States. Having left the country where She was born and raised, She couldn’t erase traces of the East from my work. She pour all those memories, longings and emotions into the flowers, dead trees, and the mist passing by her face in her paintings. Her work can be said to be a landscape that captures her emotions and spiritual strength.
